Openings in front office groups in NYC’s most competitive financial firms. My clients are the Hedge Funds, Prop Trading firms, and Investment Banks.
I am looking for serious developers from any background. Any experience level is fine. Keep in mind that most of my clients will ask for GPAs of 3.0 and above (several will require 3.5 GPA and above) unless you are out of school for 10+ years.
Most of my openings will require strong multi-threading skills, excellent knowledge of design patterns, knowledge of real time development issues, deadlocks, race conditions, algorithms, data structures, concurrency, etc.
We require reasonably strong communication skills and a love of technology in general.
H1b visas are welcome as long as you have 4 years of eligibility remaining. NO THIRD PARTIES PLEASE.
I am currently scheduling interviews for software engineers with C++ or Java or C# skills:
Openings for C++ developers (10 positions):
- High frequency quantitative hedge funds and Prop trading firms - Compensation up to 150k base + up to 100% bonus
- Algorithmic trading systems infrastructure development - Compensation up to 140k base + bonus
- Client side development for high speed electronic trading systems – Compensation up to 125k base + bonus
- Derivatives processing systems development - Compensation up to 125k base + bonus
Openings for Java developers (15 positions):
- Several openings across Asset management, FX trading systems, Prime Brokerage - Compensation up to 140k base + bonus
Openings for C# developers (5 positions):
- Equity Trading systems front end development using C#/Winforms – Compensation up to 140k base + bonus
- FX Trading systems - Compensation up to 140k base + bonus
- Portfolio Trading OMS Equity Trading systems Compensation up to 140k base + bonus
Location: Manhattan
Compensation: up to 150k base + bonus that go up to 100% or more
